Blending fun!

We are absolutely loving our new Blend Tec that Taylor's mom gave to us for Christmas. We had no idea how cool it was when we first got it, but since we've been experimenting with it and reading the recipe book, we realized this is like a blender on steroids!!

It can puree baby foods, make icecream, make and heat up soups, fondues, grind wheat into flour (good use of our food storage!) and do tons more things! We have been making breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks, and deserts nonstop just with this blender, super awesome! Thanks so much Virginia, we feel so spoiled!!

This is Caden all geared up and excited for his yummy milkshake daddy is making for him.
And these are just pictures that I couldn't help but post on here because I thought they were cute.

Caden's personality has made Taylor and I laugh so much lately. His vocabulary is just soaring and it's so fun to see him learn so much. I can't wait to see his reaction to having a baby brother. I hope he does well. Today I am 37 weeks along, which means I am considered FULL TERM, yikes! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by, I am really excited but pretty nervous, too. Not only am I nervous about having a safe delivery and a healthy baby, but I want so badly to be a good mother to both of my boys, I hope I can do it! It will be such a great adverture, right?

Long Time No See

Well I figured that I have given you all a good enough break of us, and figure that now is as good a time as any to bore you with more pictures of us. It has been awhile, and we haven't even posted about Christmas so let me go back a bit and catch you up.

This Christmas was really fun. It was the first Christmas that Caden even had somewhat of a clue as to what was going on, and that made him really excited for Christmas to come. Though he didn't fully understand it, it did give us a look into what it might be like next year for him, and that has Mom and Dad pretty excited now. Anyway, as you can see he got his first bike, which he was really excited about. What you may not see is that the bike is a BYU cougar bike. Which obviously Liz picked out, and simply couldn't pass up, because of her love for the cougars :-)

We have tried to start a few of our own traditions around the Christmas holiday, and since Taylor was supposed to work both Christmas Eve and Christmas this year, which meant we wouldn't be traveling to far away places to visit family, we would spend the time together with our new traditions. We have always done the traditional ride around looking at christmas lights while drinking hot chocolate, but we have decided that it would be fun to build a snowman on Christmas day as a family (weather permitting of coarse). So this is this years creation. Caden named him Frosty (after his new favorite cartoon), but he didn't help build him at all (I think he was having too much fun watching his dad and eight months pregnant mom trying with all of their might to put this thing together). Oh well, maybe next year! We are pretty proud of our accomplishments this year though. Old frosty stood a good 7 feet tall, and in his prime was the envy of the neighborhood. People would stop all the time in front of our house to admire him in all of his glory!!

Anyway, sorry for the gap in posts other than christmas it is just life as usual in the Corry household and we tend to think that that is probably pretty boring for the rest of you. Good luck to all and Happy New Year.
