Just like daddy

We got our family pictures taken by our awesome neighbor, Tynelle, the other day. She is such a talented photographer, thank you Tynelle! She took tons of really good ones, it was tough to decide which was our favorite, but I think it's between this one and the one at the heading of our blog. Can you tell the difference?

Liz-apotamus

Taylor's been teaching Caden some tricks lately, this one is called "chest-bumps".
Caden loves his baby brother, he likes to give him hugs and kisses, and when he says the prayer he always blesses "baby Tyson", even if we don't remind him to. It's really sweet.

Caden posing like mamma. Every now and then, he'll say that he has a baby in his tummy, too. It's pretty funny.

I really don't like showing pictures of just myself, but I decided I should show the full, as my brother's call me, "Liz-a-potamus", for my friends and family who live farther away and don't see me very often. This is me with a six-month supply of chocolate for, um... the baby. It's truly amazing how strong my cravings have been. At this moment, as I am posting, I'm snacking on chocolate-peanut butter fudge, mmm...yum.

Updates!

I know, I know. It's been forever. A lot has happened since the last post! One exciting thing is that Caden got to go "trick or treating" for his first time ever! I'm not sure if it was more fun for him to dress up as Curious George and get lot's of candy, or for me to watch his excitement (and cuteness) as he realizes that all this candy that everyone is so generously handing out to him, is for him to keep and eat all to himself! The only sad thing was that Taylor couldn't be there, he had to work that night.

These are some of Caden's friends that we went with, Hallie and Porter. Caden sure likes his friends.

I think this look says it all!

Baby Boy!

Yes! We can now post again!! Our new laptop arrived just a little bit ago, horray! Anyway, since our last post, we had our mid-pregnancy ultrasound, and found out that we are having another boy! We are really excited. It will be nice because we already have almost everything we need for a boy. That way we don't have to buy much.

Caden absolutely loves the Wii. His favorite game right now is boxing. He is hilarious when he really gets into it! We just had to video tape him the other day, even though he was only in his diaper. It was just so funny!

Let us Explain

Sorry about the lack of posting lately, Liz is really excited to post some more things, but our computer crashed recently and we are waiting for a new one to arrive, as soon as it does we will go ahead and update everyone on the fun things happening in the Corry house. Until then we hope you are all well.

Kung Fu Caden!

Our little rascal now has a favorite movie. We decided to try and see if he would do well at the movie theater the other day. We saw Kung Fu Panda (and absolutely loved it!) and he sat through the entire thing! All three of us laughed our heads off, and ever since we went, he's been asking to go see it again. Since he did so well the last time (and since it was the dollar theater), we finally gave in and went and saw it again! Amazingly, he kept in his seat again. Maybe it was just the popcorn...

Official Announcement

Well I just thought that I would let you all know...that I have officially turned over all blogging responsibilities to Liz. Obviously I have just been too busy, or not creative enough, take your pick. But from here on out Liz is going to be taking over as the official blogger for our family, and I am sure that you all will appreciate that greatly.

The Great Outdoors

Liz and I had a little free time this week, so we decided that we would head for the great outdoors for a little camping experience. Our good friends Ches and Melissa (along with their daughters came with us). We all had a really good time, especially our dog who couldn't believe he had so much room to run. Seeings as how Ches and I graduated from nursing school in May and passed our boards in June, we felt that it would be a really good idea to put all that stress completely behind us. And what better way to do that then by buring a book that was meant to prepare us for the boards. Amazing what a little "pyrotherapy" can do to ease the troubled mind.

Sleep Over!!

Sorry for the break in posts, but we just didn't have anything fun going on...until last night. Nate and Derrek came over for a sleepover and did we ever have a blast. We played guitar hero all night, mixed it up with a little smash bros, (Grandma those are Wii games in case you were wondering), and when those got to be a little too much we watched the opening ceremony of the olympics. We really had a great time, and I just wanted to post this to thank Nate and Derrek for coming over. You guys are great!

Happy 24th

Happy 24th everyone, we sure hope that you are all enjoying it. We took our family to the 24th parade today and I have to say that Caden enjoyed every minute of it, (with the exception of all of the floats that didn't throw candy, the big loud cannon that scared him right of the bat, and the 26 different cities that all felt like they had to put their "royalty" in the SF parade. Other than that he loved it.) He got so much candy that we had to come home and put him straight into the tub so that we could get the 6 inches of sticky off of him. Anyway we had a good time, Liz really enjoyed watching the cheerleaders and Taylor really enjoyed the fact that since we now live in Utah county Cosmo (BYU mascot) gets to be in all of the parades. Happy 24th to everyone out there.

Catching You all Up

Well, Liz and I have had such a normal week that we have had a hard time coming up with something to post to the blog. So we finally decided that since some of you have never seen the puppy that we bought last month we would put him up. I think that I am the only Corry that really is proud of the fact that I have a dog, so I thought it would be good not to hide him from any of you. So here he is. His name is Dobby. He is about 10 weeks old now and he is a boxer. He is a blast and good with Caden, which is good seeings as Caden's favorite thing to do is tease the dog. Anyway, here are a few pics of him, and no Jason, in the first one he is not doing his business! I know you were wondering.

I Have the Best Wife in the World!!

Well, it is official. I have the best wife in the world. Liz and I have been talking about changing the look of our upstairs room. It is the room that we mainly use to watch movies and let Caden run around and cause havoc. Well I halfway jokingly threw out the idea of turning it into a BYU room, and decorating it with as much blue and white as possible. I didn't think that she would go for it, but when she didn't shoot it down into a million pieces within the first 3 seconds, and then eventually came around to thinking that she would have fun doing it, I almost began to cry tears of joy. So anyway, before she had a chance to change her mind I ran to the store, bought the paint and had it halfway painted before she woke up the next morning. And now here it is. The room is not quite finished obviously, I am still waiting for some posters and things, but I think that with this you can get the idea of how much fun I have been having since my last post. Go Cougars!!!

Trying Something New!!

Hi to all of our families and friends. Liz and I have decided that we are going to try something new. Knowing that many of you would like to see more pictures of Caden as he grows, and Liz because she is so cute, (and probably less of Taylor's bald head), we have decided to give this blog thing a try. Please feel free to stop by often and see what is new in our family. We will try our best to keep it as updated as possible. We hope that you like it. Since we have just started we thought we would do a quick slide show of our lives up to this point, and then we will update you from here on out, so we hope you enjoy.
