So Fast!

Time has gone by so fast since Tyson was born. I can't believe how fast they grow when they are so little. He has already gained over a pound.

Life has been wonderful, (and tiring at times) but we have definitely been counting our blessings.

Our very talented neighbor, Tynelle, has taken these pictures of Tyson when he was one week old.

You would think she had a studio or something, but she just took them in about 10 minutes while I was at her house one time and they turned out so well!

Pictures of the "Tyger"

Here he is!

Caden absolutely loves him, always asking to hold him and wanting to kiss him as you can see. Tyson is such a sweet baby, we are so grateful for how smoothly everything went. We are home now and enjoying just being home and relaxing (well, I guess as much relaxing as a two-year-old will allow!). It has been really fun! We've had a lot of help offered by family and friends, thanks guys! My wonderful husband took work off for almost 2 weeks, it's so great to have him here!

Tyson Eugene!!

Hey guys, sorry for the quick post, and the lack of pictures, but I just wanted to write a quick note and let you all know that Tyson Eugene was born on Feb 4th. and everything went really well, much to our relief. Liz is still in the hospital and should be home sometime tomorrow, hopefully. She is still in some pain, but otherwise doing very well. Having a new little baby isn't hurting things at all :-) Tyson is doing very well, and hasn't given half the excitement that Caden gave us 2 years ago (thank goodness). It has really gone well and we feel very blessed. We will post some pictures once we get home, but in the meantime for those of you who have been checking up on us waiting for news, just know that all went well!!!

The sun'll come out, tomorrow!!

We are having a baby tomorrow morning!! We are having another C-section. Apparently there is a chance of the same complications I had with Caden to happen in other pregnancies of mine if I were to go into labor. For those of you who don't know, with Caden, I was six hours into labor when my placenta abrupted and we had an emergency C-section and Caden lost almost all his blood, he needed six blood transfusions, CPR and had to be life-flighted to St. George to the NICU and was there for a whole week (Taylor went with him). I wasn't able to hold Caden until a few days later since I was still recovering in Cedar City. It is a complete miracle that Caden is not only alive but made a complete and full recovery, we've been very blessed. So! We're just going to avoid it all this time, and I am very excited about that! They're going to give me an epidural, which means that I'll be able to be awake this time during the procedure!

I'll try to post pictures and updates as soon as I can! I've been asked to measure my waist line before and after, so, whether you care or not, here it is: today my waist measures 42 1/2 inches. I'll let you know what tomorrow's measurements are when I update on everything else!
