Boston

I'm not really sure why, but our Ward is assigned to the Boston, Massachusetts Temple even though we are much closer to the Manhattan, New York Temple. So, for Spring Break we decided to take a little vacation and go up to Boston for a couple days. We had never been to Boston before so it was a fun opportunity to explore it a little. We went with our two families of friends from Utah that are here for school with Taylor, which was fun and made it possible for us to even attend the temple. (We switched off babysitting all the kids.) I can't believe, however, that I didn't even think to take a picture of the temple and it was the main reason that we even went to Boston, oh well:)

Taylor was really excited to see the Fenway Stadium as we drove by so we took a picture with our phone while we were driving.

We went to a big aquarium in Boston which was actually really cool and the kids loved it. They had penguins, sharks, jellyfish, seals, and all sorts of fishes.

Taylor says that he would love to own a jellyfish some day. I don't know when, but we'll probably get one. He's really serious about it. I really like how they look, but ever since I saw the movie "seven pounds", I've been a little creeped out about them:)

We want to go back again and see a lot of the historical sites next time. This is Caden and Addison. They sure had fun!

The Beach!

When it's pretty good weather (not raining or snowing) we like to go to the beach and play. It's nice because it's only about 15 minutes away. Caden loves to collect sea shells and Tyson loves to swing (yes, there's swing-sets on the beach!), and Taylor and I love to relax and let the kids run around and use up energy that's been so pent up. So, here are some pictures of us at the beach!

Too much sugar?

Valentine's Broadway!

For Taylor and my Valentines celebration, we decided to go to a broadway musical in New York. We saw the Phantom of the Opera, and it was awesome! Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to go to New York Broadway and see the Phantom, so I was really excited. Especially the fact that Taylor was excited to go to Broadway too, made it even better. I'm not sure he enjoyed it as much as I did, but it was really sweet of him to take me to it.
We decided to try out the train system for the first time so we didn't have to drive in New York, and we are so glad we did. It wasn't too expensive, and it took us right to the heart of New York City. It was great. Time Square was basically on our walk to the Majestic Theater. Yes, that's me in the picture, it was pretty windy.
This is Taylor at the Grand Central Station, I just recently got a new camera, because, if you can't tell, my old camera was not working very well, I think it was going out on me for quite a while, so that's why Taylor is glowing in the picture.

We were only allowed to take pictures during intermission, but here is the Majestic Theater. We had a really good time, it was a great experience I'm glad we went!
